Commissioner Roberts' vision for the County is a Government that truly is for, of, and by the people.  She agrees with Thomas Jefferson’s statement:  “No government can continue good, but under the control of the people.” He believed that if the people become inattentive, the elected become wolves.  Commissioner Roberts agrees that the voice of the people should be in its rightful place: valued and at the helm. She believes in prosperity, liberty, and freedom; that government should be small, accountable, and transparent; and that our U.S. and State Constitutions are the foundations on which to base all decisions.
