Jackson County is a member of the  Jackson County Recycling Partnership (JCRP).  JCRP provides a collaborative forum for the County, cities, waste haulers and citizens to foster awareness of waste prevention, hazardous waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting throughout the County.  JCRP quarterly meetings are open to the public and the County encourages citizen involvement. 


Recycling Information

• Recycling Depot locations and website information are listed on the County Waste Haulers page.
• The Jackson County ReDirectory is a comprehensive, easy-to-use tool for homes and businesses to access recycling, reuse, repair, and waste prevention opportunities within Jackson County.
• Recycle Right!  Learn why this list of items should never be put into your curbside recycling bin. 
• Composters in Oregon, supported by the Oregon DEQ, have issued a "Compostable Packaging Information Sheet".  The document contains information on compostable products.     
• Recycling of Beverage Containers (Cans and Bottles), Paints, and Electronic Devices (Computers, Monitors, Printers, Keyboards and Mice) are included in statewide programs.  Click on the titles to follow the links for specific product collection sites.

Changes in the recycling markets have impacted Jackson County.  The types of items being accepted by curbside programs and recycling depots may have changed.  Please contact your local waste hauler or recycling depot operator for a list of acceptable clean items that may be recycled.
