Airport Business
The Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport is located in southwestern Oregon on 938 acres adjacent to the city of Medford, the Rogue Valley’s central business district.
The Airport is the gateway to Southern Oregon and Northern California, and a majority of passengers either reside in or are visiting Jackson County. In 2022, the Airport saw over 1,000,000 passengers.
The Airport operates under an Airport Advisory Committee/Director management system. The Airport Advisory Committee is comprised of nine members appointed by the Jackson County Board of Commissioners. The committee advises the Jackson County Commissioners on Airport matters of public concern. They also help to formulate and recommend priorities for capital improvements and further expansion of the Airport.
The Airport Director is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Airport, compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration safety regulations, air service, public relations, and planning for future growth and expansion.
