ePermitting - In our efforts to better serve the citizens of Jackson County, the Development Services Department is joining the State's ePermitting system.
THE IVR SYSTEM WILL ALLOW YOU TO USE YOUR TOUCH TONE PHONE TO:
Schedule Inspections
Cancel or reschedule Inspections
Retrieve Inspection Results
TO ACCESS THE SYSTEM CALL 1-888-299-2821
Before you call, you will need the following:
A touch-tone telephone
New 12-digit IVR Number (this is not your permit number)
An inspection code
From the system Main Menu, choose from the following options:
Press [1] to schedule an inspection
Press [2] to cancel or reschedule an inspection
Press [3] to retrieve inspection results
Press [0] to contact the jurisdiction who issued your permit
Press [*] for general information about the IVR system
You can obtain your 12-digit IVR number at the State of Oregon ePermitting website . Select "Search" in the center of the page under "Applications or Permits." Enter your permit number in the "Record #" field. All historical permit numbers now begin with "439-" for Jackson County (Example: 439-BLD2014-00001). You can also search by address or "Name of Business" which would be the licensed professional/contractor on the permit. The IVR number will show in "Project Description" for all historical (active/open) permits. Remember to change the "Start Date" if your permit is older than one year. Then scroll down and click on the "Search>>" button.
