Animal Bites

If you have questions regarding rabies post-exposure prophylaxis, please contact Jackson County Public Health 24/7 at 541-526-9251
Our goal is not only to prevent human rabies but to avoid unwarranted rabies post-exposure prophylaxis. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns about a bite. Aside from consultative services, we can facilitate testing animals for rabies, which may negate the need for rabies post-exposure prophylaxis.
