Prison Transfers
When an Adult in Custody (AIC) is sentenced to the custody of the Oregon Corrections Division (Penitentiary), they may be transferred within one day or the process could take several weeks.For the security of the transporting officers, an AIC will not be told when the transfer will occur.
If the AIC is being transferred to another correctional facility, excess clothing, property or extra storage items WILL NOT be transferred with them.
