Notice of Public Hearing Multi Use Pandemic Center

The Jackson County Local Contract Review Board is considering an exemption from competitive bidding requirements for a Multi-Use Pandemic Response Center construction project as allowed under Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) 279C.335(2) and Jackson County Local Contract Review Board Rules, Division 1-120.c. A public hearing will be held on September 27, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. in the Courthouse Auditorium located at 10 S. Oakdale, Medford, Oregon, and by audio/videoconference for all interested persons to appear and be heard.

Jackson County is requesting an exemption from competitive bidding requirements for the use of a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) as the alternative contracting method
for the planning, design, and construction of the Multi-Use Pandemic Response Center project on the Jackson County Expo grounds. 

A copy of the Exemption Request, including Draft Findings, can be obtained during regular business hours at the Jackson County Courthouse Facility Maintenance Department at 10 S. Oakdale, Room 208, Medford, OR 97501, or by email at DeSautRA@jacksoncountyor.gov

Public input will be limited to five minutes per person; if there is additional information to
provide beyond a five-minute limit, individuals are encouraged to submit comments in writing.
An extension of the five minute per person time limit may be approved by a majority of the
Board.
