Apserkaha Park, located on the southern shore of Howard Prairie Lake, provides groups and individuals with a unique outdoor experience. The camp is situated on 66 wooded acres and features almost a half-mile of lake frontage. The secluded lake access is an inviting feature of the park.
Camp facilities include a preparation kitchen (only with group reservations) and covered dining area, which seats 80, twelve fully enclosed, lighted sleeping cabins, 9 RV sites with water and electric hookups, ADA compliant vault toilets, two group firepit gathering areas, showers, picnic tables, barbecue pits and an easily accessible swimming beach. Apserkaha Park Fees:
Group Camp Reservations (Includes use of Kitchen, 9 RV Sites & 12 Sleeping Cabins
• $450 per night up to 120 people
• +$250 refundable security deposit (in addition to nightly fees)
Individual Site Fees:
• Sleeping Cabins - $30 per night, per cabin
• RV Sites - $30 per night, per site (water & electric hookups)
Maximum Stay Limit at ALL Jackson County Parks: 14 days out of any 30-day period
CHECK IN: 3 PM CHECK OUT: 12 PM
Open Dates/Hours:
The campsites and shelters are open on a first-come-first-served basis or the entire park may be reserved for large gatherings. Reservation Availability is from May 3 through mid-October
